Fort Collins, Colorado – January 28, 2011 – Career-training provider Weston Distance Learning reinforced its positive and supportive image yesterday with the launch of its new brand campaign: The Power of RE.

“The Power of RE is all about believing in yourself,” says Weston President Ann Rohr. “It’s about the power of education, the power to go back to school and start a new job. The power to redefine your career and revitalize your life. That’s what we do at Weston. So much is possible when you tap into the Power of RE.”

Weston Distance Learning announced The Power of RE campaign with an interactive, multimedia presentation at the Fort Collins Hilton. The new campaign was the result of a six-month brand analysis in which the company gathered and analyzed data from prospective students, current students and graduates, as well as employees and other company stakeholders. The new campaign is designed to appeal to Weston’s non-traditional, career-focused student body.

“Weston has a long history of reaching out to groups who aren’t being served by traditional schools and colleges,” says Rohr. “We specialize in helping the unemployed, the underemployed, mothers and older students. Other schools shy away from these people, but they’re central to everything we do here at Weston. We’re here to help these individuals and improve society through education.”

Celebrating their 30-year anniversary this year, Weston offers degree and certificate programs in more than 40 healthcare, business, service, creative, criminal justice and finance careers.

Weston Distance Learning Inc. is the parent company of three distance education schools: At-Home Professions, U.S. Career Institute and McKinley College. The schools enroll students nationwide. State approval is through the Colorado Department of Higher Education Division of Private Occupational Schools. Additionally, each certificate course and degree program is accredited through the nationally recognized Distance Education and Training Council in Washington, DC.
